Power and Majesty is the first book in the Creature Court trilogy, also being released by HarperVoyager. P&M is one of the best books I’ve read all year and I want to share the joy with people.

I also want to encourage you all to pre-order my book, Secret Ones, book one of the Dream of Asarlai trilogy, also being published by HarperVoyager. Pre-orders are great, because they encourage the publisher and that means more support for the book. It’s a fact of publishing – the more popular a book is, the more support it will get because that means it’s a possibility of making a profit and believe you me, not many books make profits for the publishers.
So here’s how it will go – either comment below or email nicole @ nicolermurphy.com (without the spaces) with your name and where you pre-ordered Secret Ones (include an order number if you can). Information you’ll need to pre-order – Secret Ones, by Nicole Murphy, published by HarperCollins, ISBN 978-0-7322-9161-7.
Where can you pre-order? Loads of places – your local bookstore, order at Paperchain Bookstore to reserve a copy for the launch, or online through Fishpond.com.au, Infinitas bookstore in Parramatta, (you used to be able to pre-order online through the big chains like Dymocks, Angus and Robertson and Borders, but you can’t any more – too close to release date I guess so you’ll have to go into the store). For those across the ditch (Hi New Zealand!) you can order it online at Abacus Educational Books or from Fangtastic Fiction.
The competition will be open until midnight on Sunday, June 27. On the Monday, I’ll pick one person and they will win a copy of Power and Majesty. So you can buy my book and maybe score a book for free! Bargain!
